What this site collects
Nothing.
There is no consent banner here because there is nothing to consent to. Asking you to approve tracking that does not exist would be worse than saying nothing.
- No cookies, no local storage, no session storage
- No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising
- The contact form posts to this domain, never to an outside service
- No embedded video, no social widgets, no external scripts
- Typefaces are served from this domain, so nothing is requested from Google
You can check any of that yourself: open your browser tools, load a page, and watch the network panel stay inside mric.be.

On the server
What the host records
Hostinger keeps the access logs any web server keeps.
Your IP address, the browser you used, the time and the page you asked for. These logs exist to run the server and defend it against abuse. Hostinger acts as the processor and applies its own retention period. I do not read those logs to learn anything about visitors, and I do not export them anywhere.

If you write to me
There are two ways, and both land in the same mailbox.
The contact form at the foot of every page asks for a name, an email address, a subject and a message. It posts to a script on this domain, which turns those four fields into an email and sends it to hello@mric.be. Nothing is stored in a database and nothing passes through a third-party form service. The server keeps a short count of recent submissions per IP address, for up to an hour, to stop the form being used for spam.
Writing to hello@mric.be yourself arrives in the same place.
Either way, I keep what you send for as long as the conversation is worth keeping. Ask me to delete it and I will. Nothing from that mailbox goes to anyone else or gets used for anything other than replying to you.

What you can ask for
Under the GDPR you can ask to see what data concerns you, to correct it, to have it erased, or to object to it being held at all. Write to hello@mric.be and I will answer within a month.
